Violin Teacher

Musical Background

My development as a violinist has been shaped by over a decade of study with the French virtuoso professor Fabienne Fauritte, whose teaching placed equal emphasis on technical precision, tonal control, and interpretative depth.

This training developed a disciplined approach to the instrument, alongside a detailed understanding of tone production, phrasing, and musical structure.

Core Areas of Teaching

Musical interpretation and ABRSM and Trinity exam preparation, alongside performance preparation and confidence building. I also focus on practice strategies and independent learning skills, as well as repertoire development tailored to individual goals.

Students I Work With

I work with students at all stages of development, from beginners building strong foundational technique (Grade 3 and above) to adult learners returning to or developing their violin studies, as well as those preparing for ABRSM and Trinity examinations.

Professional Practice

Alongside my private teaching, I am the violin teacher at The Russell School in Chorleywood, where I work across both individual and group settings. My approach focuses on building secure technical foundations alongside developing musical understanding and long-term artistic confidence.

A Note of Gratitude

To my teacher Fabienne Fauritte, with deepest gratitude for profoundly shaping my life as a violinist through your discipline, insight, and artistry, and for giving me a musical foundation that continues to guide and define everything I do.

Thank you
