Violinist and Teacher
Musical Background
My development as a violinist has been shaped by over a decade of study with the French virtuoso professor Fabienne Fauritte, whose teaching placed equal emphasis on technical precision, tonal control, and interpretative depth.
This training developed a disciplined approach to the instrument, alongside a detailed understanding of tone production, phrasing, and musical structure.
Alongside my studies, I have performed regularly in concerts and orchestral settings across the UK. This ongoing performance experience continues to inform my teaching, ensuring that lessons remain grounded in practical musical reality as well as pedagogy.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching focuses on building reliable, intelligent technique as the foundation for expressive playing.
Rather than treating technique and musicianship separately, I work with students to understand how they are connected — how posture affects sound, how bow control shapes phrasing, and how structure informs interpretation.
Lessons are structured and methodical, with an emphasis on long-term development rather than short-term fixes.

Professional Practice
Alongside my private teaching, I am the violin teacher at The Russell School in Chorleywood, and maintain an active teaching practice across both individual and group settings.
I also continue to perform regularly in orchestral and concert environments, which directly informs my approach in the studio.
A Note of Gratitude
To my teacher Fabienne Fauritte, with deepest gratitude for profoundly shaping my life as a violinist through your discipline, insight, and artistry, and for giving me a musical foundation that continues to guide and define everything I do.
Thank you
