Laura Blanchard is a British Violinist based in London, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.


 “Playing the violin for me is encompassing everything I have learnt in life”

Laura is a British violinist and teacher based in London. Her playing has been defined by her 10 year studies with the great French virtuoso professor Fabienne Fauritte who showed her the way for developing her technique and musical phrasing. While studying at the Fabienne Fauritte Violin school Laura was encouraged to teach which led to her second passion; developing the next generation of young violinists to reach their full potential. 

Laura’s has had great success both as a violinist and as a teacher. With playing concerts with orchestras in Bedfordshire and admitting students to competitions in London. She has lead group classes and has experience working with specialised music schools in the UK. Laura is currently the violin teacher at The Russell School in Chorleywood and has taught in  state and private schools teaching students with from all backgrounds.

Teaching plan depending on level of student and goals. Price will vary on number of hours and commitment per week. Please contact Laura to discuss further. 

Trial lesson 30min

Basic x 1 60min lesson per week

Advanced x 2 60min lesson per week 

Extra lessons maybe available upon request for preparing for a competition or exams
